Seed Treatment
Enhancing Performance
We believe treating your seed will help the seed start strong and reduce the risks from a number of soil and seed-borne pathogens or insects. GT Seeds, LLC offers both Awaken ST and Foothold Virock as part of the treatment regimen. We treat every bushel we drill in the Fall in an effort to ensure maximum yield and return on our investment.
Awaken ST
A nutritional seed treatment that provides crucial micronutrients for plant nutrition, promotes early plant vigor growth for improved yields, and creates a better root system to improve tolerance to drought and other stresses. Awaken ST puts nutrients where a germinating crop needs them, right on the seed.
Foothold Virock
Contains three fungicides plus an insecticide that protects seed and seedlings against many diseases, seed decay, and helps control early-season aphids, Hessian flies, and wireworms.
On-site Cleaning
Ensuring Purity
GT Seeds, LLC also offers wheat cleaning. This process, using a state-of-the-art Clipper Air Screen Cleaner and length graders, helps produce the best wheat seed for the next year's crop by eliminating weed seeds and selecting seeds with good test weight through the screening process. Finally, on-site 14x80 Certified Scales allow us to accurately weigh the wheat and produce the best possible quality seed.
